At 1.30 p.m. on Thursday 29 June, in the Palace of San Telmo in Seville, Pedro Mercado Pacheco was sworn in as Rector of the University of Granada. The ceremony was presided over by the President of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, and involved the participation of the Regional Minister for Universities, Research and Innovation, José Carlos López Villamandos.
