Research Topics

    The research topics I am interested in concern collision tectonics. The research projects in which I participate include the following topics:

Study, from a structural and kinematic point of view, of compressional and extensional processes at different structural levels, within internal and external zones of orogens.

Relationships between metamorphism and deformation.

Tectonic evolution of the orogens and their relationships with global tectonics.

    I raised these topics in Hercynian and Alpine orogens (Iberian Massif, Alps, Himalaya and Betics).
