El profesor Yin Cheong Cheng(EdD,
Harvard) es vicepresidente (Investigación y
Desarrollo) y catedrático/a de Liderazgo y
Cambio, Instituto de Educación (Hong Kong). Es
presidente de la World Educational Research
Association (WERA) (2012-214) y anterior presidente
(2004-2008) de la Asia-Pacific Educational Research
Association (APERA). Es también director del
consejo asesor de la Tin Ka Ping Foundation y asesor
de la Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Ha
publicado 20 libros académicos y alrededor de
200 artículos a nivel internacional. Algunas de
sus publicaciones han sido traducidas al chino,
hebreo, coreano, español, checo,
tailandés y persa. Ha sido invitado a presentar
unas 100 conferencias a nivel internacional en
diferentes partes del mundo. Ha sido editor en jefe de
la Asia Pacific Journal of Teacher Education and
Development (1998-2003). En el momento actual trabaja
en los consejos asesores de 17 revistas
internacionales.

Professor Yin Cheong CHENG (EdD, Harvard) is the
Vice-President (R&D) and Chair Professor of
Leadership and Change of the Hong Kong Institute
of Education. He is also the President of the
World Educational Research Association (WERA)
(2012-2014) and the past-President (2004-2008) of
the Asia-Pacific Educational Research Association
(APERA). He serves as the chairman of the Tin Ka
Ping Foundation’s advisory board and was a panel
advisor to the Bill & Melinda Gates
Foundation. He has published 20 academic books and
over 200 articles internationally. Some of his
publications have been translated into Chinese,
Hebrew, Korean, Spanish, Czech, Thai and Persian
languages. He has been invited to present over 100
keynote and plenary speeches at international
conferences by national and international
organizations in different parts of the world. He
is at present serving on the advisory boards of 17
international journals.
