Edaphology and Land Use Planning Group (RNM 101) was created in January 1995. Its director was Professor José Aguilar Ruiz, just until the re-made of the group in September 2005, where Professor Eduardo Ortega Bernaldo de Quirós take the group in charge.

José Aguilar Ruiz, Ph.D. now with the Soil Formation and Degradation Group in the University of Granada.
Emilia Fernández Ordoño, Ph.D. now with the Soil Formation and Degradation Group in the University of Granada.
Francisco J. Martín Peinado, Ph.D. currently at the Soil Formation and Degradation Group in the University of Granada.
Mariano Simón Torres, Ph.D. currently at Applied Edaphology Group (RNM-242) in the University of Almería.
