Symptoms include pain on one side of the back, blood in the urine, a mass in the flank or abdomen, high blood pressure, and fever. The diagnosis is carried out through evaluation tests such as IVP, ultrasound, renal arteriography, CT scan and Kidney scan. Treatment depends on the stage of the disease, the general state of the patient and other factors. The main treatments are surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, being surgery the most common one.
