Kaslow es profesora vitalicea del Departamento
de Psiquiatría y Ciencias del
Comportamiento de la Facultad de Medicina de
la Universidad de Emory; psicóloga jefe
del Sistema de Salud Grady; vicepresidenta del
Departamento de Psiquiatría y Ciencias
del Comportamiento; y directora del programa
de becas postdoctorales en Psicología
Profesional en la Facultad de Medicina de la
Universidad de Emory. También trabaja
en los Departamentos de Psicología,
Pediatría y Medicina de Urgencias, y en
la Escuela Rollins de Salud Pública. En
2012, recibió el título
honorífico de Doctora en Letras Humanas
por la Universidad de Pepperdine, donde
también dio el discurso de
graduación. En Emory, ha sido
presidenta del Claustro Universitario y del
Consejo de la Facultad, y ayudante especial
del Rector. Se doctoró en la
Universidad de Houston y completó su
período de prácticas y beca de
formación postdoctoral en la
Universidad de Wisconsin. Antes de formar
parte de la facultad de la Universidad de
Emory en 1990, fue profesora adjunta en los
Departamentos de Psiquiatría, Centro de
Estudios Infantiles y Pediatría, de la
Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de
Yale.

| MiniBio Nadine J. Kaslow, PhD, ABPP, is a
professor with tenure, Emory University School
of Medicine department of psychiatry and
behavioral sciences; chief psychologist, Grady
Health System; vice chair of the department of
psychiatry and behavioral sciences; and director
of the postdoctoral fellowship program in
professional psychology at Emory University
School of Medicine. She holds a joint
appointment in the departments of psychology,
pediatrics and emergency medicine, and in the
Rollins School of Public Health. In 2012, she
received an honorary degree (doctor of humane
letters) from Pepperdine University, where she
also gave the commencement address. At Emory,
she is past president of the University Senate,
past chair of the Faculty Council and former
special assistant to the provost. Kaslow
received her doctorate at the University of
Houston and completed her internship and
postdoctoral fellowship training at the
University of Wisconsin. Before joining the
faculty at Emory University in 1990, Kaslow was
an assistant professor in the departments of
psychiatry, Child Study Center and pediatrics at
Yale University School of Medicine.
