The Pervasive Electronics Advanced Research Laboratory is
integrated by a vast, experienced and interdisciplinary group of
researchers including professors, post-doctoral researchers (Marie
Curie) and Ph.D. students. The members have proved competence in
nanoelectronics device simulation, electrical characterization, two-
dimensional materials, memory cells, memristors, flexible electronics,
sensors and transducers, custom circuit design, and electric mobility.
During the last 5 years, members of the Laboratory have participated
or coordinated 5 European projects, 4 National projects and 2
Industrial Driven projects. 8 patents have been granted and more than
100 peer-review works have been published.
The PEARL has access to state-of-the-art equipment for Electrical
Characterization: Impedance Spectroscopy, Vector Network Analysis,
Semiconductor Parametric Analysis, Power Analysis…; Structural
Characterization: including Raman Spectroscopy, XPS, DRX, AFM,
SEM, RMN. There is also a flexible electronics facility counting with
spin coating, inkjet printing, 3D printing and screen printing and CNC
lasers.
