
The University of Granada will run its VIII Japan in Granada Conference on 5 and 6 of October 2018, giving the UGR community and the public a unique opportunity to gain insights into the rich cultural and historical heritage of Japan.
Through a varied programme of open events and activities, the conference will explore topics such as the classical Japanese musical drama known as Noh; religion; medieval history; the Empire of Japan and the Pacific War; manga comics; and traditional Irezumi tattoo art.
The conference will also include a session designed to provide those who are interested in studying in Japan with practical information on visa applications.
The event will take place as part of the VIII Week of Japanese Culture in Granada.
