At the UGR we are firmly committed to promoting culture and the arts. In order to achieve this objective, we encourage both the university community and the non-university community to propose and develop cultural activities. These activities, which are organised through the UGR, are a great opportunity to develop your creativity and innovation, and pursue new talents.
La Casa de Porras (also known as the ‘Casa del Estudiante’) works intensively throughout the year to promote cultural activities in the city of Granada, and to enable students to gain new skills and abilities in an exciting learning environment. At the Casa de Porras you can choose from over 50 different types of vocational courses and activities.
We hold exhibitions, as well as offering members of the university community and members of the public the opportunity to display their artwork free of charge, set up courses and workshops, and hold seminars.
