Call for Papers, Journal Bordón

The Scientific Committee and the Editorial Board of the journal Bordón announce collaboration agreement for this event. According to this agreement, the Scientific Committee will select 12 works (abstracts in IMRYD format, according to the guidelines of Bordón) before February 6. Such works can be oral or written presentations and must follow the work submission guidelines that can be found on this website. Those 12 selected works will be reviewed by the Editorial Board of the Journal Bordón. The Editorial Board will select a maximum of 10-12 works for their full-text submission. A final double-blind evaluation will be carried out within a period of ten days. A maximum of 8 works will be eventually published in a journal with impact like Bordón: number 3 (July-September 2014).

INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES

Submissions must describe authors' original research work and follow the following submission guidelines:

According to these guidelines, abstracts must follow the IMRYD format (Introduction, Method, Results, and Discussion), have between 200 and 300 words, and a maximum extension of 6.500 words.

Those interested in publishing their work in Bordón must send an abstract (following the instructions on the Congress website) before February 6, through our electronic application

The Editorial Board of Bordón will announce the selected works for their full-text submission on February 14.

A full-text version of these preselected works must be sent to cts261edu@ugr.es for a double-blind review before March 12. Submissions must follow Bordón guidelines.

The result of the final evaluation will be announced on March 26. Authors will have then one week (until April, 4) to answer reviewer‘s comments and send a final version of the manuscript, which will be reviewed again.

Those selected manuscripts after the double-blind evaluation will be published in the number 3 (July-September 2014).

The Spanish Society of Pedagogy, editor of Bordón, will hand in a free copy of the number 3 of Bordón to all attendees.

BORDÓN INDEXING

According to recent information from our partners, the journal Bordón is obtaining a positive and remarkable score for obtaining the 6-year research term (SEXENIO) in the field of Educationas evaluated by the Spanish National Commission for the Evaluation of Research (CNEAI). It obtained a Certificate for Excellence in 2011, given by the FECYT.

Bordón is one of the few Spanish journals in the INT2 category (international impact) in the ERIH index (European Reference Index for the Humanities) of the European Science Foundation.

As showed in the DICE-CINDOC database, used by faculty accreditation in the ANECA, the journal Bordón:

Is in the Category INT2 of the ERIH

Meets 100% of LATINDEX criteria

Is classified in the group A of the ANEP
Is in the first quartile of IN-RECS 2012 (13° journal out of 162) and MIAR 2012 (18° journal out of 146), and in category A of CIRC-DIALNET.

Bordón has been admitted to EBSCO recently. Moreover, it is under review for its inclusion in SCOPUS.
