Presentation

The SEMTA – AIMETA colloquium “From Experiments to Theory” aims at gathering researchers from different horizons (analytical, numerical and experimental) working on the scale-bridging in Mechanics, spanning the domains of Mechanical, Biomechanical, Aerospace, and Civil Engineering.


The congress is aimed at researchers in the field of theoretical, applied or experimental mechanics in various disciplines such as materials, mechanical, civil, aerospace and biomedical engineering. On this occasion, the most relevant works on new techniques for the use of experimental data for the development of new advances in mechanics will be presented by speakers from Spain, Italy, as well as invited speakers from other countries.


During the STAMS2025 colloquium, a tribute will be paid to Professor José Domínguez Abascal.
