MY RESEARCH INTERESTS

My current interests are mostly focused on the active processes shaping the Gibraltar Arc region (western Mediterranean).

• Active tectonics and topography evolution.
• Tectonic significance of the shallow crutal seismicity.
• Thermo-mechanical modelling of the lithosphere.
• Present-day stress field.
• State of stress along major active faults in the region.

Some of these aspects are key target of my PhD thesis.
